The Challenge
When a hedge fund out of Chicago came to us with a hospitality project out of Costa Rica, we knew we had a unique opportunity. We needed to take a sub-par resort and make it appealing to travelers. The client flew our principles, Nathan Puente and Alex Gurevich, out to check out the resort so we could get a hands-on look and what we needed to brand.
The Results | The Process
Upon arrival we were in awe with Costa Rica beauty, it was everywhere. This inspired a new type of hotel branding with a simple aim, reverse the attraction. Instead of creating a site that was focused on hotel amenities and luxurious rooms and accommodations, we focused on everything you could do around that resort. The idea was that people don’t always come to a tropical island to stay in a room the whole time, they go to see the country, the beach, the wildlife and the adventure. The site and the brand we created revolutionized the way people view resorts.
