I am  not sure where the problem is but this pretty much summarizes almost any marketing / design company. Ofcourse ours is an exception because we have eManagers that help you along the way so you get exactly what you wanted

These fonts are so over used that i feel it is my duty to point one out everytime i see one used. Sometimes they go perfect with design (in that case i also add: "at least it goes with their design" but in most cases it's used simply because it looks cool.

I mean common, this speaks for itself, this font just screams crappy designer at me

We see this all the time as as we browse the web, some of it was fresh a year ago, some of it was fresh a month ago (like the fancy design flourishes) and some where never really that trendy but everyone just thought they wehere really cool when they used them (like comic seans font). I found an awesome article that got me thinking about this.

1) Reflective objects:

I think these are everywhere these days from graphic user interfaces to half the web pages out there. I must admit i used that myself and still think that it's good design in the appropriate projects (like the cleaning company)

I stumbled accross this awesome site (webpagesthatsuck.com). That has ... you got it, websites that suck. I particulary liked their selection for the number one site which is http://www.belladesoto.us/. I am pretty sure this is not an actual site but some sort of a marketing search engine plot to dominate the web. Here is the screen shot of it:

This is just an awesome promotion video for Kyle Webster. It features great flash animation and awesome lyrics that only designers would understand.

While doing some research for a client today i stumbled upon a really funny design post, i figured i would share it with you. Basically this page shows example of different 404 page not found error msgs. Most sites (including ours :-( ) have a very generic 404 page, it doesn't have to be that way, here are some of the examples that i liked the most:
