Lets talk about Poster Design

I'm not really sure how many people realize the power behind a successfully designed poster. If an artist or designer has done thier job, that poster can have an astounding impact on its viewer and in some cases even in the cultural arena. Today I'm providing a couple of links to some inspiring, amusing and in some cases iconic posters.

Free back up and sync

Everything is perfectly fine until a hard drive crash that's why staying backed up and in sync is essential in today's world. Many companies opt out for big cluster servers that do nightly back up or running a RAID array on your computers that automatically rebuild the data if the drive gets corrupted. This is all great but this still doesn't protect from hardware theft and ussualy costs a lot of money. That's where Internet comes to the rescue yet again.

I was browsing around design blogs when i stumbled into this interesting video that talks about photoshop retouching in the media. We don't even think about it but almost all the photos we see are retouched. What do you think about it ?

Health Corps Web Design Project

We are proud to take on a HealthCorps.org web site redesign. Health Corps is a none profit organization that has a vision to engage and educate America's youth and families to "Eat Smart and Exercise" by providing them with knowledge, tools and support to make healthy choices.We are honored to work together with Vemma and HealthCorps team to bring them a new site. One of the main goals of this project is to simlify navigation, layout and easy management of the website.

CEDO Web Site Redesign

We just finished doing a complete overhaul for CEDO a intercultural center for the study of deserts and oceans a none profit organization that we loved working with in getting their site up to speed. This was a joint project with Kelly Leslie a University of Arizona graphic design proffessor.

GraphicFusion Design Goes Global!: International Web Design

http://www.penninckx.com/ was a step in GFD history.  This was a great web design project that came to us from around the world.  A plant nursary in Belgium found us online and decided that they had to work with us.  This company had seen our work on Arid Plant Designs website and had felt compelled to call.  We were more than happy to navigate the time and language barriers presented by this type of work to produce a site that we were both very happy with.
